| Notes: | Founder of the Swan Hospital in Palmdale, California. Husband of Mary L. Swan (nee Ferris) who is also buried here at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. They lived in Shanghai China for a handful of years and their first three children were born there. Son Alfred Jr., daughter Mary Lydia and grandson Frederic Marriott Swan are also buried here at Desert Lawn.
