Notes: | The daughter of James Edward Wells and Henrietta Cooper 'Nettie' Vail. Nettie is buried at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, San Mateo County, California. Married Straud B. McBride on June 27, 1923 in Palmdale, California. To this union were born Straud Jr., Clayton Laird, Glendon Lee and Leland Richard McBride. Straud Sr. and Jr., Clayton and Leland are buried here at Desert Lawn; Glendon is buried at Ross Cemetery, Neodesha, Kansas. The first telephone operator in the Antelope Valley.
