Notes: Los Angeles Herald, Volume 31, Number 68, 9 December 1888: SUPERVISORS. - John Munz was appointed Road Overseer of the Palmdale district.

Los Angeles Herald, Volume 34, Number 48, 31 May 1890: And it is further ordered that the polls be opened for the purposes of said election at the places hereinafter named, and the following named persons are hereby appointed inspectors, judges and clerks of said election, to wit:

Palmdale—At Munz's store: Inspectors, John B. Martin, John F. Fentel; judges, John Boesch, Charles Schwerin; clerks, Charles I. Dunsmoor, John Munze.
