Research Center

Our research center is open the the public. Our collection included both U.S. and international genealogical resources. We plan to put our complete library catalog on this web site in the future.

We also offer computers with high-speed Internet access. Researchers can use our Ancestry.com subscription to view original images of U.S. and U.K. census records, in addition to other online records.

The center is staffed by Society members who can assist you with the collection and computers. Please call at the number below for additional information.

The center is generally open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons. See our calendar for exact hours and days. If you would like to come at a different day or time, please call for an appointment.

Directions to the AVGS Research Center

From Palmdale and points south: Go north on the Antelope Valley Freeway. Exit at Rancho Vista Blvd. (Avenue P) and turn right. Turn right on 3rd Street East. Turn left into the Winnell Industrial Park. We're located near the southeast corner.

From Lancaster and points north: Go south on the Antelope Valley Freeway. Exit at 10th Street East and turn right. Turn left on Rancho Vista Blvd. (Avenue P). Turn right on 3rd Street East. Turn left into the Winnell Industrial Park. We're located near the southeast corner.
