Jane lived in New York for about five years acting in musical comedy productions; she met Charles 'Philip' Schoeller and they were married in March of 1952 in Rio de Janeiro. Charles was the son of Henry Paul Schoeller and Ruth Nuckolls Sargent who are buried here at the old Palmdale Cemetery.

Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), Saturday, March 15, 1952, page 1 "Sen. Davis' Daughter Married"

Philip was a Civil Engineering Student at Cal Tech, Student Body President and earned the Honor Key. As early as 1949 he was in upper management in a construction company in Rio de Janeiro. Jane and Philip made Rio their home. She died there at a young age, and many decades later Philip died their also. Their is a Find A Grave memorial for Jane in Rio de Janeiro also (227205942). This invites further investigation.
